How to post a job?
ANE Weekly Job Announcements Alert is delivered to more than 4,000 Hampton Roads nonprofit professionals. To include your organization’s job posting in this free service, email us a position description (in PDF format ONLY or website link) by 1 p.m. on Thursday for posting the following week. Be sure to include instructions on how to apply for the position AND salary range, both must be stated in order for your job announcement to go out. Indicate a closing date or the number of weeks you would like the job posting to be included. Positions without a closing date will be included in the email for 4 weeks.  While organizations are not limited on the number of positions that are posted, there is a limit to attached position descriptions. Organizations with over 5 job postings in one week will go to the organization’s website instead of an attached position description.

Lending library

The Academy for Nonprofit Excellence now has a free Lending Library of useful, informative and thought-provoking titles. Here’s how to use these valuable resources and Nonprofit tools: 

1. Visit our classroom at the Center for Workforce Solutions – 7000 College Drive, Suffolk, VA
2. In each book you will find a yellow slip for borrowers to share their contact information with us
3. Fill out the yellow slip and then put it in the basket found on the bookshelf
4. Take the book with you and return when finished.

All we ask is that you return the book in good shape and within a reasonable amount of time.
